Built for Webflow relaunches

Whether you ship for clients or your own brand — protect SEO with a complete redirect map before DNS flips.

  • Agencies

Run the same redirect workflow across every client relaunch — crawl, match, review, export — without rebuilding the process in Sheets.

  • Freelancers

Ship solo go-lives with confidence. Get a complete path map in minutes instead of hunting old URLs by hand.

  • Marketers

Protect rankings before you flip DNS. Spot weak matches, check status codes, and keep SEO intact through the cutover.

Built for redirect day

Crawl, review, wildcards, import & exclude — then export with a final status check for Webflow.

  • Sitemap crawl + match

Finds robots.txt and sitemap indexes on old and new sites, then scores every old path against the best new path — locale-aware.

  • Review, search & filter

Bucket tabs (Exact, Fuzzy, Review, Manual), subdirectory filters, and path search keep large maps workable while you confirm every row.

  • Wildcard consolidation

When a whole folder maps 1:1, collapse dozens of rows into one Webflow rule with (.*) and %1 — stays under the ~1000 limit.

  • Export-time status check

Before you download a CSV, 301buddy hits every new URL, fills Status, and flags 404s or unreachable targets — fix them or export anyway.

  • Import & exclude

Import redirects already in Webflow to reuse targets, and exclude prefixes like /cluster/ so they never clutter the table or export.

  • Webflow-ready CSV export

Export Finsweet CSV or generic CSV with wildcard escaping, plus a final validation pass for duplicates, budget, and bad targets.

FAQ

Straight answers before you buy.

macOS 10.15 Catalina or newer, on Apple Silicon and Intel.

301buddy first reads robots.txt for Sitemap: entries, then tries common fallbacks like /sitemap.xml. It follows sitemap indexes recursively (including gzipped files) and keeps HTML page URLs only. If no sitemap is found, it falls back to a limited homepage crawl of same-site links — up to your max-pages setting.

Yes for discovery and matching — any public sitemap works. The primary export is import-ready for Webflow; a generic CSV is also available.

Export the Webflow CSV (header path, targetPath), then import it with your usual bulk redirect tool. Rules use Webflow wildcard syntax: (.*) and %1.

Status checks run automatically when you export. 301buddy hits each mapped new URL, fills the Status column, and warns about missing or unreachable targets before you download — you can fix them or export anyway. Use Recheck selected after edits.

No. 301buddy runs locally. It only fetches the public sitemaps you enter — nothing is uploaded to our servers.
